ACCIDENTS

5/9 1:23 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near the 10 block of Monroe Parkway. No one was injured.

5/9 7:38 p.m. An accident was reported near the 15200 block of Bangy Road. No one was injured.

 

THEFT

5/9 12:32 p.m. A burglary was reported near the 100 block of Foothills Road, and some hammers were possibly stolen.

5/9 10:29 p.m. A purse was stolen from a restaurant near the 4000 block of Mercantile Drive.

5/10 3:47 p.m. Theft of an undisclosed nature was reported near the 600 block of South State Street.

5/11 9:08 a.m. Theft of an undisclosed nature was reported near the 5000 block of Foothills Road.

5/11 2:29 p.m. Theft of an undisclosed nature was reported near the 3100 block of Furman Drive.

STOLEN VEHICLES

5/9 3:12 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered at an undisclosed location.

FRAUD

5/9 11:42 a.m. A caller said a person had been taking money from them “for a while.”

5/9 4:34 p.m. A resident said they were scammed out of $2,100 while talking to someone they thought was from their bank.

5/11 11:16 a.m. Credit card fraud was reported.

MISC.

5/9 6:18 a.m. A caller said a golf course had large commercial mowers going off before the noise ordinance started near the 17500 block of Stafford Road.

5/9 9:04 a.m. A resident said that the day before, a man rang their doorbell as well as a neighbor’s near the 1800 block of Highland Loop. They thought it was weird because he was on foot and people didn’t normally do this.

5/9 10:47 a.m. A man was pushing a grocery cart full of mail and boxes near the 2700 block of Iron Mountain Boulevard.

5/9 12:07 p.m. A man said he was driving on Timberline Drive and noticed he was going too fast, so he pressed his brakes and then stopped to let two women cross the road. The women then threw something at his car and yelled at him, and he said he’d been harassed by them before.

5/9 12:55 p.m. A caller worried about a dog in a vehicle with the windows up near the 4800 block of Meadows Road.

5/9 1:10 p.m. A resident said they saw 10 kids jumping in the water near the 100 block of Foothills Road.

5/9 1:22 p.m. Someone wanted a man trespassed after he came into a bar on a Friday night and was asked to leave.

5/9 2:11 p.m. A racial slur was written on a construction sign near the 2700 block of Iron Mountain Boulevard.

5/9 4:16 p.m. A caller said kids were drinking, swimming and driving home near the 600 block of South State Street. Police said they walked the beach area and saw lots of people, but no alcohol. They handed out stickers before running out of them and noted that “people were sad because no more stickers.”

5/9 2:17 p.m. A resident said that on May 6, a woman came to their house and hit their wife while also calling her names. They wanted to know what their options were.

5/9 3:52 p.m. Graffiti was found in a park near the 15500 block of Quarry Road.

5/9 5:16 p.m. A caller said golf balls were hitting their house as well as a neighbor’s near the 700 block of Quarry Road. It turned out the balls were going over the driving range net.

5/9 5:22 p.m. People were “smoking something” and exposing themselves near the 1600 block of South Shore Boulevard.

5/9 6:00 p.m. Middle school-aged kids were fishing at the swim park near the 200 block of Ridgeway Road.

5/9 6:14 p.m. Kids were seen jumping off a platform near the 300 block of Oswego Pointe Drive.

5/9 6:59 p.m. A man had been sitting in a car for five hours near the 3100 block of Furman Drive.

5/9 7:27 p.m. Kids were seen riding on top of vehicles near Canyon Drive and Glen Haven Road.

5/9 8:29 p.m. A caller said they wanted the person who lived with them to get out, but they refused. They later canceled the call and said they were just frustrated with their brother.

5/9 8:31 p.m. A dispute over a parking spot was reported near the 5300 block of Parkview Drive.

5/9 9:14 p.m. Someone said it sounded like a bunch of kids were setting off fireworks near the 1900 block of South Shore Boulevard. It was a seventh grade slumber party.

5/9 11:28 p.m. A dog had been barking for three hours and the owners weren’t home near the 3100 block of Furman Drive.

5/10 12:24 a.m. A DUII was reported near Pacific Highway and Marylbrook Drive.

5/10 9:19 a.m. An elderly man seemed confused and was telling someone he needed to get to California.

5/10 12:41 p.m. A caller said a large coyote followed his wife all the way to their door near Deerfield Court and Southwood Drive.

5/10 4:24 p.m. A possible DUII was reported near Boones Ferry Road and Country Club Road, but police didn’t find the car.

5/10 6:48 p.m. Kids climbed onto a roof of a business near the 400 block of A Avenue.

5/10 7:14 p.m. A domestic incident was reported.

5/10 8:48 p.m. A possible DUII was reported near North State Street and Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard. Police didn’t find the car.

5/10 9:58 p.m. People tried to leave without paying for two shopping carts full of flower bouquets near the 10 block of Monroe Parkway.

5/10 10:56 p.m. A domestic incident was reported.

5/10 11:40 p.m. Kids were seen on top of a school near the 4700 block of Jean Road.

5/11 12:15 a.m. “A lot of partying noise” was reported at a home near the 4600 block of Galewood Street.

5/11 1:29 a.m. A DUII was reported near Pacific Highway and Marylbrook Drive.

5/11 3:58 a.m. Someone said their camera picked up someone checking car doors at an undisclosed location.

5/11 9:43 a.m. A caller said their landscaper told them their vehicle had been broken into and rummaged through near the 600 block of 4th Street.

5/11 9:53 a.m. People were reportedly trying to break into vehicles near the 700 block of 1st Street.

5/11 9:55 a.m. Graffiti was reported near the 10 block of Nansen Summit.

5/11 12:33 p.m. A caller said someone was in a kayak up against their property and taking pictures near the 1000 block of North Shore Road.

5/11 1:54 p.m. A car window was broken “like a rock or bullet went through” near the 300 block of 5th Street.

5/11 6:49 p.m. Kids were tossing park chairs in the water near the 100 block of Foothills Road.

5/11 9:15 p.m. A caller said someone was knocking on their door and it might have been their ex who was dangerous.

5/12 12:15 a.m. A loud noise that sounded “like a vacuum on steroids” was heard from an apartment near the 4200 block of Oakridge Road. It turned out the apartment had flooded recently and industrial fans were running to dry it out.
